Ladies Who Launch
For those of you ladies who are business owners or are thinking about becoming business owners I highly recommend joining Ladies Who Launch.
3 1/2 years after starting happytails (a line of spa, grooming & wellness products for dogs), I was starting to feel a little depleted. In a small company you don’t get as much input as you used to when you worked at a larger company. I just needed a little refresher, stimulus, caffeine for the soul we’ll call it!!!
It starts out with the incubator group which lasts for 1 month (4 sessions). Each person puts their idea in the “incubator”. Each week you give the group progress reports about your project or business idea. I don’t want to call it a support group, because there is no whining or negativity, but certainly it is a place of encouragement as you plan your new business or rejuvenate an existing business.
After the four incubator sessions are over, you then become a member of the larger group and literally have access to thousands of women. I just “graduated” from my incubator tonight but veterans swear by this powerful network of women. If you’re looking for a new designer, manufacturer, media contact, publicist etc…put it out on the message board and someone will help you out.
Check it out and see if there is a chapter in your city. www.ladieswholaunch.com
Well worth the time.
