Here in Spain it is the law that all animals must be restrained in a vehicle. We have little short leads that clip to the collar and fit in to the seatbelt clip. Works fantastically well and soon calms the dog down. It is also very important in that if there is an accident the dog will be safer and there is also less chance it can harm you by coming in to the fron seat. Buckling up is very important.
